​The Circle of Horses was created on a shoestring in a borrowed arena, with borrowed horses and borrowed tack.

We made The Circle of Horses a community based program so that individuals with needs would benefit from our program, and it worked.

It worked so well that at least half of our participants are on scholarship. But we cannot do it alone.  We need your help. Our program has grown and so have our needs.

The Circle of Horses is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.  Donors may deduct contributions under IRS Section 170.  We are also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under Section 2055, 2106, or 2522.

We would like to thank the Redwood Coast Regional Center, Friends of Mendocino Coast Recreation and Parks, Haywire Inc, The Mendocino Community Foundation,  The Mendocino Children's Fund, The Pollination Project,The Park and Recreation  Department, 100 Women Strong, and all the wonderful individuals that have donated to our program.
